Private Lessons

Denis Karp has taught private flute lessons for over 20 years.  He teaches students of all ages, from very young beginners through adult professional musicians.  His students have enjoyed success in All-County/GT Bands, All-State Bands, Solo and Ensemble Festivals, Youth Orchestras, Competitions, and have earned music scholarships at universities.  With a background as a performer and former band director, he can help you build the skills you need – not only to succeed in your school band, but to be the best flutist you can be!  Denis encourages his students to participate in programs outside of school, including an annual end-of-year recital.  He enjoys using music to build skills that will be useful throughout your life, no matter what career path you choose!
